- The elements are arranged by a atomic number, electron configuration and recurring chemical properties.
- Table contain 7 rows and 14 columns
- There are 4 types of blocks s, p, d, f block.
- 1869 Russian chemist Dmitry Mendeleyev Develops the periodic table of the elements. As Newlands did before him 1863, Mendldyev classifies the elements, according to their atomic weight and notices that they exhibit recurring patterns (or) periods of properties.
